How Texas Engine Finder Works

How Texas Engine Finder works, in short: you tell us the vehicle and the part, and one independent parts supplier checks fitment and comes back with availability, price, shipping and warranty terms.

Takes about a minute. The supplier confirms fitment before any sale.

Your vehicle

Next: engine code (optional), your name and phone. We pass your request to one supplier only.

Your details
Not sure? Leave it blank.
Speeds up the fitment check.

Three steps

  1. Tell us your vehicle

Year, make, model, the part you need and your ZIP code. Add the engine or transmission code or your VIN if you have them — they speed up the fitment check.
  2. One supplier gets your request

We pass it to one independent parts supplier. Your details are not sent to a list of yards, and nobody else calls you about it.
  3. Get a quote, then decide

The supplier confirms the part fits your vehicle and quotes availability, price, shipping and warranty. Nothing is ordered until you accept their quote.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell parts ourselves or hold stock. The supplier sells to you directly, under their own terms.
  • We don't send your request to a list of businesses. It goes to one supplier.
  • We don't sign you up for marketing texts or calls.

Phone calls

Calls to our number connect you to the supplier. Calls may be recorded for quality and to resolve disputes; you hear a notice before the call connects, and you can hang up and use the form instead. See our privacy policy.

Does it cost anything to ask?

No. Requesting a quote is free and there's no obligation to buy.

How fast will I hear back?

The supplier contacts you by phone or email about your request. If you'd rather talk now, call the number at the top of the page.

Do I need my VIN?

It isn't required to ask, but the supplier will use it to confirm the part fits before any sale.
