What we collect

When you request a quote we collect what you type into the form: the part, your vehicle's year, make and model, your ZIP code, your name and phone number, and — only if you give them — an email address, an engine or transmission code and your VIN. We also record the page you sent it from, the time, your browser type and your country as reported by our hosting provider.

When you call our number we record the calling number, the time and length of the call, whether it connected, and — after a spoken notice at the start of the call — a recording of the conversation. If you leave a voicemail we keep the recording and an automatic transcript.

How we use it

To pass your request to the parts supplier so they can quote you, to keep a record of each request and call, to resolve disputes about requests, and to keep the site working and free of spam.

Who we share it with

Your request is shared with one independent parts supplier, Blue Prism Automotive (3419 Westminster Ave, Ste 1037, Dallas, TX 75205), so they can contact you about it. We do not sell your details and we do not send them to any other business for marketing.

We use service providers to run the site: Cloudflare (hosting and spam protection), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery), Twilio (phone calls and recordings) and Google Analytics (anonymous site usage). They process data on our behalf.

Calls and recordings

Calls may be recorded for quality and to resolve disputes. You hear a notice before the call connects; if you don't want to be recorded, hang up and use the quote form instead.

Texts and marketing

We don't send marketing texts or add you to a mailing list. The supplier contacts you only about your request.

How long we keep it

We keep requests, call records and recordings for as long as we need them to handle the request and resolve any dispute about it, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your details sooner.

Your choices

Email hello@texasenginefinder.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it or to have it deleted. Deleting your details from our records does not delete what the supplier holds; contact them directly for that.

This site is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top of this page.
