Which Nissan Rogue do you have?
FWD or AWD
Every Rogue generation on this page came in both. Used-yard listings give the front-drive and all-drive CVT different interchange numbers in each year we checked.

For the 2010 Rogue, used-yard listings split the CVT four ways on top of drive: California or federal emissions, and with or without the tow package (SL Premium Package, paddle shifters).

For the 2016 Rogue, used-yard listings split the CVT by the first VIN digit: U.S.-built (5) and Korea-built (K) cars share one part, Japan-built (J) cars take another.

The 2021 Rogue has the 2.5 and the 2022-on car the 1.5 turbo, and used-yard listings give the 1.5 and 2.5 CVTs different interchange numbers.

- Match the generation. Each Rogue generation's CVT has its own interchange numbers on used-yard listings.
- FWD or AWD? The all-drive and front-drive CVTs are different parts in every generation.
- Check the first VIN digit on a 2014–2020 car. A Japan-built Rogue (VIN starts with J) takes a different CVT from a U.S.- or Korea-built one.
- Emissions and tow package on a 2008–2013 car. California-emissions cars and cars with the tow package take their own CVT. Your VIN and window sticker settle it.
- Get mileage, testing and warranty in writing. Ask for the donor vehicle's mileage, how the transmission was checked, the warranty term and the freight cost to your ZIP before you pay.

Each row has two sources: Wikipedia's Rogue article and the U.S. EPA records, which list every Rogue from 2008 to 2026 with a variable-ratio automatic. Neither gives the Nissan or Jatco part code for a given year, so the exact unit is confirmed by VIN.
Nissan Rogue questions
How much does a used Nissan Rogue transmission cost?
Used-yard asking prices for a Nissan Rogue typically ran $1,000 to $3,698 on October 22, 2026. That range runs from the lowest version's 25th percentile to the highest version's 75th percentile, across 5 versions (345 priced listings). Remanufactured units were listed from $4,849 to $5,599 (15 offers). Prices vary by version, mileage and shipping, so the supplier quotes your exact part.
Does every Nissan Rogue have a CVT?
Yes, for U.S. models. Wikipedia lists a CVT for every Rogue generation, and the U.S. EPA lists every Rogue from 2008 to 2026 with a variable-ratio automatic.
Will a CVT from another Rogue year fit mine?
Within a generation it can. On the day we checked, the 2016 AWD CVT listings came from 2014 to 2020 Rogues. Across generations, drives and build plants the part changes, so the supplier matches it by VIN.
Is a Rogue Sport transmission the same as a Rogue's?
Do not assume so. The Rogue Sport is a separate model, so ask the supplier to quote by your VIN rather than by the Rogue name.
